Farrasindo Group demonstrates its commitment to caring for others by distributing humanitarian aid to residents affected by flash floods in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. Through this act of solidarity, Farrasindo Group raised donations and collected emergency supplies, which were then distributed to the areas most in need.
The aid collected included staple foods, groceries, sanitary pads, medicines, and other medical necessities. All of this assistance was successfully gathered in a total of 449 packages by all internal company employees who care about the disaster situation.
In the distribution process, Farrasindo Group collaborated with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) as the official partner for aid distribution. This collaboration ensures that all aid is delivered accurately and reaches residents in hard-to-access locations.
BNPB also expressed deep appreciation to all communities and donors who have supported disaster response efforts. "BNPB thanks Farrasindo Group and everyone who has provided assistance to affected residents. This support is very meaningful in the efforts of disaster management and post-disaster recovery," said Mr. Diaz, a BNPB representative.
Through this action, Farrasindo Group hopes this step can provide real support for the victims, ease the burden on affected communities, and serve as a form of solidarity in facing emergency situations. "On behalf of all Farrasindo Group employees, we hope this aid will be beneficial for those affected by the disaster," said Mr. E Suherman, Director of Farrasindo Group.
With the distribution of this aid, Farrasindo Group further affirms its commitment to supporting humanitarian actions and encouraging cross-sector collaboration to help those in need.
"A small help from us can be a great hope for them."
